Frequently asked questions

What accessories do I need for a shipping container?

For security, a lock box over your padlock and a door lock on the inside locking bars. To set it up, a leveling kit. For storage, vents to let heat and moisture out.

What are the best security locks for shipping containers?

No single lock does it all, so combine two. A padlock inside a lock box leaves bolt cutters nothing to grip, and a heavy-duty lock that ties the inside locking bars together makes the doors much harder to force. Step by step: locking up a container.

Can I buy an accessory on its own?

They’re sold with a container order, on the same quote; larger items such as the roll-up door kit can ship separately. If you only need the accessory, or want it installed, ask for a quote.

Do you sell container parts, roll-up doors or shelving?

You can ask for a roll-up door kit, with the framing kit, threshold and header plates to fit it. Replacement parts such as door gaskets or handles, and shelving, aren’t listed as stock items. For a man door, shelving or an installed roll-up door, ask for a quote and describe the job.
